So what are you waiting for? #EngageTryConvert
Engage. Try. Convert forms part of a nationwide project, co-ordinated by England Rugby and funded by the Spirit of 2012 Trust, called Spirit of Rugby. The Spirit of Rugby project focuses on 15 communities across the country; working in 5 communities in Rugby World Cup host cities, 5 in communities that hosted Rugby World Cup training bases and 5 communities that were remote from the direct impact of the Rugby World Cup.
The project supports young volunteers aged 16-24 to be key drivers in their community, developing projects for their peers to play rugby, volunteer in rugby and get involved in community focused cultural projects based on the core values of rugby. The focus of the projects is to engage new audiences of young people in rugby and to change perceptions of the sport.
The 15 communities are based in Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cumbria, Croydon, Darlington, Exeter, Folkestone, Liverpool, Loughborough, Luton, Manchester, Northamptonshire, Portsmouth and Thetford.
